REHEARSAL REQUIREMENTS

All participants MUST be able to attend the two morning orchestra rehearsals on Monday July 19 and Tuesday July 20. Participants must also be able to attend at least 4, but preferably all 6, of the other rehearsals.

If we don’t need all of the rehearsal time scheduled, we may release some of it. But please be aware that the plan is to sing nearly from memory, and this may affect rehearsal needs.

MUSIC SCORES

Information regarding obtaining a score has been e-mailed directly to all participants. If you are participating and didn’t get the e-mail, please contact Liz at ChorusNews@oratoriosocietyofny.org.

CONCERT DRESS

     The orchestra for the
Varèse will be in all black.  They have asked if we can do the same.  It will certainly be more comfortable to perform in shirtsleeves than in full tuxedo for a July evening performance.  (Black shirt, pants, socks and shoes; no tie.)
There is a shirt sold through Amazon.com for $20.  We would like to place a group order for these and would like to collect shirt sizes at the first rehearsal.
If you will NOT be at the first rehearsal, please send your shirt size to Richard at rpace@erols.com.  (If this purchase would create a financial hardship for you, please contact Richard and we will work something out.)

If you have a basic black long sleeved shirt with collar and cuffs that will create a uniform appearance on stage, there is no need to buy another.
To see the shirt CLICK HERE.

CONCERT TICKETS

Each participant will be given one complimentary ticket to the concert, possibly two depending on the house closer to the concert date.  If you need a second ticket, or if you don't need the one, please let Richard know.  rpace@erols.com.

DIVISI

The divisi was e-mailed to participants.  Write to Liz at ChorusNews@oratoriosocietyofny.org if you did not get it..
